With the curtain drawn on his State of Origin career and his 2017 playing season over, injured North Queensland Toyota Cowboys co-captain Johnathan Thurston will spend the remainder of the year rehabbing his injured shoulder and providing coaching and mentoring support for his teammates.

Fox League recently caught up with Thurston’s wife Samantha, who paid this moving tribute to her husband and Cowboys Life Member No.5.
