As part of their Townsville roadshow recently, Fox League’s Queenslanders Only program spoke to Toyota Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt about all things North Queensland.

Sharing the stage with host Robert “Crash” Craddock, former Broncos skipper Justin Hodges, plus Maroons legends Mal Meninga and Gorden Tallis, Feldt relived that moment in 2015 when he scored the try that would send the NRL grand final into extra time.

Giving a bit of friendly stick to Hodges – who played his last ever top-flight game that Sunday night in October nearly two years ago – Feldt summed up what the Cowboys’ historic NRL Premiership meant to the club and the region.

Townsville born and bred, Feldt, 25, also talked about playing footy as a youngster in the North, including lining up alongside Cowboys teammate Michael Morgan at noted rugby league nursery Ignatius Park College.
