The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ Under-20s most recent signing has been brought into the team as injury cover for tonight’s Round 13 NYC match against the Gold Coast Titans.

Ryan Lloyd only signed on for the Cowboys 20s at the start of the year after impressing as a train-and-triallist, and he gets another chance in the side after regular back-rower Hiale Roycroft was ruled out with injury.

Roycroft is out for at least six weeks after sustaining a leg injury while playing for the Queensland Under-20s against New South Wales in Wednesday’s State of Origin curtain-raiser, a game which also included fellow Cowboys Corey Horsburgh and Mitch Dunn.

The game kicks off at 5.10pm at 1300SMILES Stadium.
