Head coach Paul Green will take an unchanged team into the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ Round 10 NRL clash with the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in Sydney tonight.
The teams kick off NRL Indigenous Round and will contest the Reconciliation Cup, played between the clubs since 2007, with the Cowboys aiming to win it for the fourth straight year.
Green welcomes back fullback Lachlan Coote, hooker Jake Granville and core forward Shaun Fensom into the side as the trio return from injury.
Ray Thompson and Michael Morgan will be the Cowboys’ halves as Johnathan Thurston recovers from a shoulder injury.
Jason Taumalolo, Scott Bolton and John Asiata are set to start the match as the side’s core forwards, with Ben Spina and Fensom coming off the bench in support.
Young forward and first team regular Patrick Kaufusi will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury after hurting himself while playing for Tonga in the weekend’s Rep Round.
