North Queensland Toyota Cowboys under-20s coach Aaron Payne has named his side ahead of their Round 9 clash with the Parramatta Eels at 1300SMILES Stadium on Friday.

In a largely unchanged team from the one that sent the Newcastle Knights packing 54-12 last weekend, the young Cowboys will be shooting for a seventh win from eight matches against the seventh-placed (four wins, four losses) Eels outfit.

Prop Solomon Vasuvulagi is out with an ankle injury and will be replaced in the starting 13 by Peter Hola.

Payne reintroduces forwards Corey Horsburgh and Emry Pere into his 17-man side after the pair were stood down last week for disciplinary reasons.

Both young men will come off the interchange bench, with Jack Lote making way for Pere and Horsburgh taking Hola’s bench spot from last week.

The third player stood down, Connor Luhan, has been named as one of six reserves.

Gates open at 5.20pm with the game kicking off at 5.30pm this Friday.
