North Queensland Toyota Cowboys head coach Paul Green has named his 21-man squad for Friday’s Round 9 match against the Eels at 1300SMILES Stadium.

The 17 players who took the field last-start against the Newcastle Knights have been named for the Eels match, including utility Ray Thompson, who was a late inclusion last weekend.

Regular halfback Johnathan Thurston – who has missed the last two games with a calf injury – has been named in the extended 21-man squad, along with forward Shaun Fensom (ankle).

Gates open on Friday at 5.20pm, with NRL kick-off at 7.50pm.
