Community organisations headspace and Mental Illness Fellowship North Queensland (MIFNQ) will be in the Hub at the Cowboys v Sea Eagles game at 1300SMILES Stadium, with information and giveaways for members and fans.

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and LGIAsuper are proud to help these important organisations to raise awareness of the support services and programs they offer to rehabilitate, instigate positive change and educate individuals, families and communities.

headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation provides early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young people's wellbeing, and has offices in Townsville, Cairns, Mackay and Mt Isa. More info: headspace.org.au.

Mental Illness Fellowship North Queensland (MIFNQ) is a specialist mental health service provider servicing North Queensland and is a member of MIFA, a not-for-profit, grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organisation of people with serious mental illnesses, their families and friends. More info: mifnq.org.au.

Cowboys general manager community Fiona Pelling said the club prides itself on its community engagement and active involvement in promoting positive mental health messages.

“Rugby league is in a unique position to have a positive impact on mental health by using its profile to lead discussion, connect people and help break the silence on what can be a life-threatening matter,” Ms Pelling said.

“We’re excited to host MIFNQ and headspace, who show such initiative in our communities in promoting mental health.”

For LGIAsuper, making a positive contribution and a big difference to the communities their members live and work in is just as important as securing their financial future.

Teaming up with the Cowboys gives LGIAsuper the opportunity to drive positive change through educational and community initiatives.

For more than 50 years, LGIAsuper has helped members in communities throughout Queensland achieve their financial goals. Soon LGIAsuper will welcome members from communities everywhere. We invite you to share in a future with growth. lgiasuper.com.au
