The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' training program has helped give a fresh start to over 50 students who graduated from their respective courses late last year.
Part of five course groups covering hospitality, customer engagement and youth work, the graduating students were presented with certificates recognising their achievements at a ceremony held at 1300SMILES Stadium.
Providing participants with important industry skills, 'Dream, Believe, Achieve’ and the ‘GO 4 GOLD’ program offer individual support with a dedicated Cowboys mentor guiding the students through their chosen qualification and on to paid employment in their industry of choice.
Congratulations to these 2016 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' graduates:

Cowboys General Manager - Community Fiona Pelling spoke highly of the program participants and is proud of how far they've come in twelve months.
“Each graduating student has shown their passion for working in their chosen industry and now they have the skills and qualifications to truly be an asset to any potential employer," Ms Pelling said.
"They have all demonstrated true commitment and I am sure will all go on to be successful in their chosen careers.
"This program wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Queensland Government, through Indigenous Training Strategy and Skilling Queenslanders for Work, the partnerships with quality training providers, and our corporate partners and employers who have provided work experience and the opportunity for real job placements for our students."
Cowboys 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work and Indigenous Training Strategy initiatives.
It focuses on providing appropriate training and qualifications to Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians aspiring to work in specific industry vocations and then assisting them to take the next step in converting their acquired skills into paid employment.
Enrolments are now being accepted to join the 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' Certificate III in Hospitality course commencing 6 February 2017, to be delivered with major partner Allara Learning.
