Front-row war horse Ben Hannant carved out another impressive campaign for the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, providing valuable interchange back-up to pack leader Matt Scott and James Tamou.

Notoriously resilient and with a big motor, Hannant gave 100 per cent in his 12th season as a professional rugby league player, clocking up over 100 hard-earned running metres per game in a tick over 35 minutes of playing time.

Turning 32 at year’s end, Hannant will look to provide more forward punch for the Cowboys in 2017 after agreeing to a new one-year deal.
