North Queensland Toyota Cowboys premiership winner and 2015 grand final hero Kyle Feldt is pretty good on his feet.

The twinkle-toed winger may stand an imposing 191cm tall and weigh in at 104kg, but he still possesses the ability to skirt the sidelines with deft footwork and sublime finishing skills.

Kyle’s skill set is undoubtedly due to a combo of talent and hard work, but the affable Townsville product knows that his feet are a valuable asset. And as the official player ambassador for Silver Sponsor Balance Podiatry, Kyle’s fast feet – and those of his Cowboys teammates – are in the trusted hands of the podiatry professionals.

Balance Podiatry and the Cowboys are thrilled to announce their new partnership, which includes:

  • Podiatry services for all Cowboys players
  • A Balance Podiatry activation at an upcoming Cowboys home game (Round 21 v Storm)
  • An activation at the Cowboys’ annual Members Carnival
  • Special offers for Cowboys members
  • Involvement in upcoming junior development carnivals and events including the Laurie Spina Shield, Paul Bowman Challenge and Mango’s Mates
  • Support of the Cowboys Adopt-A-School program, including sponsorship of Kirwan State School (Johnathan Thurston) and St Joseph’s The Strand (Antonio Winterstein)

“Balance Podiatry has helped get me in the best shape possible for training and games,” Kyle said of the partnership.

“If my feet aren’t in good nick, week-in, week-out, I can’t perform at my peak.

"This new partnership is great news for both the Cowboys and for Balance Podiatry, and makes real sense.”

Balance Podiatry managing director Glen Evangelista was thrilled with the new partnership, saying the natural fit between a podiatry service and a professional sports team made the sponsorship an attractive proposition.

“Having such a great player as Kyle come on board as our ambassador was perfect for us and we relish the chance to get behind what the Cowboys are doing in the development and community sectors,” Mr Evangelista said.

Cowboys CEO Greg Tonner said the Balance Podiatry partnership was another great example of the club teaming up with a business that shared common values, such as being strongly focused on community.

“Balance Podiatry has shown a great eagerness to get behind such events as our Members Carnival, which shows a real commitment to the sorts of values we hold very dear at the Cowboys,” Mr Tonner said.

Balance Podiatry has 13 clinics Australia-wide, including two in Townsville.
