Jocelyn Sletton and Shirley Duckworth are just two of our community’s unsung heroes.
These lovely ladies make dinners for the residents of Ronald McDonald House in Townsville and have been volunteering there for nearly 10 years.
Their welcoming smiles and supportive shoulders help make a difference to families and their children every day and Westfund and the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are proud to help celebrate them as our first community heroes for 2016.
Westfund is a partner of Ronald McDonald House and last year Westfund and their members helped to raise $5,000 to help seriously ill children and their families, and would like to raise more in 2016!
