North Queensland Toyota Cowboys under-20s coach Aaron Payne has made just one change to his team ahead of Saturday’s round 5 match against the St George Illawarra Dragons at 1300SMILES Stadium.

After sustaining a groin injury in last week’s thrilling 23-22 win over the Brisbane Broncos, winger Gideon Gela-Mosby has been ruled out of the team to play the Dragons and is expected to miss a number of games.

Alice Springs product Jesse Pomare-Anderson, 19, will play his second National Youth Competition match after making his debut last year.

The third-placed Cowboys have three wins from their opening four games and are one of six teams on six competition points after four competition rounds.

The 13th-placed Dragons are one win from their four matches to date.
