Proserpine couple Paul and Amy Vitanza, along with family friend Scott Milen, have combined two of their favourite pastimes – the Cowboys and fishing – as grateful winners of the recent Toyota/Cowboys Gone Fishing competition.
After spending $50 or more at Filby’s Motors – one of your Local North Queensland Toyota Dealers – the Vitanzas were drawn as the lucky winners of a Money Can’t Buy Experience in the form of two nights’ accommodation at The Ville Resort and Casino and a fishing trip with premiership-winning Cowboys players Scott Bolton and Michael Morgan.
Leaving the Ville’s helipad at 7.30am, the nautilus chopper took Paul, Amy, Scott, Morgs and Bolts to three Townsville fishing hotspots – the Haughton River, Salmon Creek and Bray Rock – over the course of a day, the fishing punctuated by a gourmet lunch.
“A memorable experience, for sure,” said Paul of the competition prize. “Michael and Scott were champion blokes and a fantastic day was had by all.
“We’re really thankful to Toyota and the Cowboys for putting on such a fantastic promotion.”
