North Queensland Toyota Cowboys National Youth Competition coach Todd Payten has made two changes to his side to take on the Manly Sea Eagles in Saturday’s National Youth Competition preliminary final at AAMI Park.

Recently named Rugby League Players’ Association NYC Player of the Year Villiame Kikau has been ruled out with an ankle injury, with Ross Bella to come into the starting side.

Hooker Andrew Niemoeller returns to the field after a lengthy injury layoff (broken arm), and will be joined on the Cowboys’ bench by Mitch Dunn, Kieran Quabba and David Munro. Bill Cullen has been named 18th man.

The Cowboys-Sea Eagles preliminary final kicks off at 5pm on Saturday, September 27 at AAMI Park, Melbourne as the first leg of a Cowboys double-header, with NQ’s NRL team taking on the Storm from 7.40pm.
