North Queensland Toyota Cowboys National Youth Competition coach Todd Payten has named his side to take on the Broncos in Saturday’s National Youth Competition qualifying semi-final at Suncorp Stadium.
The Cowboys finished the regular season in second place on the ladder, and take on the third-placed Broncos for the chance to advance to Week 3 of the finals series.
Fullback Kalyn Ponga, five-eighth Kyle Laybutt, backrower Coen Hess and prop Viliame Kikau return for the Cowboys after being rested in the team’s Round 26 game against the Titans.
The Cowboys-Broncos qualifying final kicks off at 5.15pm on Saturday, September 12 at Suncorp Stadium.
