The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are on the hunt for a sleeve sponsor on their iconic jersey for the 2016 season and beyond.
The team has had its most successful home-and-away season in club history, and over the course of 11 home games in 2015 they have attracted an average crowd of 16, 162, the fourth-highest home crowd in the competition.
The club would love to hear from organisations keen to break into the Queensland market, establish a new brand presence in the state or strengthen its existing position.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for a business to begin an association with the Cowboys, which is one of the most recognisable and well-loved sporting brands in the country,” said Cowboys General Manager – Commercial Steve Mitchell.
“We had 14,330 members in the 2015 season, which was a near 20 per cent increase on last year - we get over 16,000 people attend our 12 home matches each year,”
Mitchell said the benefits – in terms of profile and exposure – of having the likes of three-time Dally M medallist Johnathan Thurston, and State of Origin players Matt Scott, Michael Morgan and James Tamou wearing Cowboys jerseys bearing your company’s name and imagery were numerous.
“We celebrated our 20-year anniversary in 2015, we’re a team which has consistently made the NRL finals in recent years and we have several bona fide stars of the game in our team,” he said. “We’ve finished the 2015 NRL regular season in third place overall, we have massive community support and when people think rugby league in North Queensland, they think the Cowboys.”
