North Queensland Toyota Cowboys National Youth Competition coach Todd Payten has named his side to take on the Sharks in Saturday’s Round 22 clash at Remondis Stadium.

With the side continuing to post strong results, Payten will be looking for continued high levels of performance from his team against the Sharks following last weekend’s 78-12 thumping of the Raiders at 1300SMILES Stadium. The team now has nine straight wins and are entrenched in the top two of the NYC ladder with 15 wins, three losses and a draw.

Payten has made a couple of changes to the team from last weekend, with halfback Cooper Bambling returning to action following a minor groin strain injury. Utility Mitch Dunn moves back on to the bench after starting in the halves last weekend. Kayln Ponga will start at fullback after playing his first two NYC games off the bench, with incumbent No. 1 Yamba Bowie out with a hamstring injury.

This weekend’s Round 22 game kicks off at 3.15pm on Saturday, 8 August at Remondis Stadium.
