Cowboys CEO Greg Tonner with Northern Pride Coach Rod Jensen

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys CEO Greg Tonner has completed his first regional tour since starting out in the new role last month.

With the stated aim of strengthening connections between Cowboys members, sponsors and supporters and their communities, Tonner spent a day each in Cairns and Mackay this week, meeting local politicians, sponsors, rugby league stakeholders and the media.

“The North Queensland Cowboys are about all of North Queensland,” Tonner said.

“I wanted to get out to the communities as soon as I could just to meet people and see what these places think of the Cowboys and what we can do to start working better together.”

While in Cairns, Tonner met with Shannon Marshall of Pacific Toyota, officials from Cowboys Intrust Super Cup feeder team the Northern Pride, Mayor Bob Manning, Cairns-based members and members of the media.
