Coach Todd Payten has made one personnel change and two positional shifts to his North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NYC team to take on the Raiders in Canberra this morning.

Fullback Yamba Bowie has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, with regular winger Gideon Mosby – fresh off an amazing four-try haul against Parramatta a fortnight ago – taking up the custodian’s role.

In-form utility Kyle Laybutt comes into the starting side on the wing and Mitchell Dunn comes on to the bench to make his NYC debut.

Dunn was a member of the Queensland under-18 team thatdefeated New South Wales 22-18 in the curtain-raiser for State of Origin II at the MCG on Wednesday.

Cowboys NYC coach Todd Payten was the coach of the NSW team in that game, and returns to the Cowboys’ fold for this morning’s match.

The young Cowboys are in second place on the NYC ladder with 21 points (nine wins, three losses, one draw and a bye), three points adrift of the Penrith Panthers and equal with the Brisbane Broncos, but ahead on the table on points differential.

Today’s game kicks off at 10.45am at GIO Stadium.
