There are just two more weeks until the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys host a rugby league smorgasbord, with game day at 1300SMILES Stadium on Saturday 27 June featuring something for every footy fan!

WOMEN'S INTERSTATE CHALLENGE

The Queensland Women’s team – which has never been defeated by NSW since the interstate concept began in 1999 and has held the Nellie Doherty Cup since it was established in 2004 – was announced this week.

It was selected following the conclusion of the Women’s State Divisional Carnival held in Southport recently.

Organised by the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys in honour of their first club captain, this year’s carnival – the 19th staging of the event in the club’s 20th anniversary year – will be held in Townsville on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27.

The grand final teams will play off as a curtain-raiser to the round 16 NRL match between the Cowboys and Sharks at 1300SMILES Stadium.
