The ANZAC Test match between the Kangaroos and the New Zealand Kiwis, due to be played this evening at Suncorp Stadium, has been postponed as a result of Brisbane's bad weather.

The match will now be played on Sunday 3 May at 4pm at Suncorp Stadium.

The match between the Jillaroos and the Kiwi Ferns will be played as the curtain-raiser to the rescheduled Test match, at 2pm on Sunday.

The NRL has worked with the NZRL, broadcasters, Suncorp Stadium, both teams, NRL clubs and the RLPA around the decision.

“There were a number of considerations for this decision, primarily player safety as well as that of our supporters,” NRL head of football Todd Greenberg said.

All tickets purchased for tonight’s match will be valid for the rescheduled match, however patrons unable to attend will be given a full refund.
