Mackay return to their home field for round 2, as the Seagulls fly north for that clash on Saturday evening.

Tweed Heads were devastating in the opening round with eight tries against the Redcliffe Dolphins, and are expected to provide a tough encounter for the home side.

The Cutters have won once against the Gold Coast-based side since 2008, back in 2013.

Hard-working forward Chris Gesch will run out for his 50th game for the club.

After their inaugural Intrust Super Cup victory over the Mackay Cutters, the Blackhawks head to Ipswich to face off against the Jets in the Channel 9 game on Sunday.

Kyle Feldt has been recalled to the Cowboys, so he won’t be playing at North Ipswich Reserve, but they will have the services of Glenn Hall coming off the bench.

Former Jet Lorenzo Ma’afu will line up against his old club to make for some interesting exchanges up front.

Ipswich went down by two points to the Wynnum Sea Eagles last week and will be out to get their first victory of the season.
