Two Toyota Cowboys are sporting special new looks for the start of the NRL pre-season.
Glenn Hall and Scott Bolton are growing flourishing moustaches in support of Movember and they’re hoping our members and fans will help them change the face of men’s health by donating on their fundraising page.
The Cowboys’ “Mo Bros” have taken a different approach to their facial grooming since 1 November.
While Bolts has gone for what is described in the Movember style guide as the “box car” look, Hally has opted for the “trucker” and is proud of his mo’s progress so far.
“It’s coming along well and it’s all a bit of fun, but there’s the serious side as well,” the 194-game veteran said.
“Movember has a history of not only raising awareness for some very important men’s health issues, but also making financial contributions to some great causes as well.
“Hopefully our members and fans can throw a few dollars our way to help out.”
Progress – taken 12/11/14
Now in its second decade, Movember has gathered and distributed $579 million for research and projects in prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
It is currently funding more than 250 research clinicians around the world.
Last year, almost a million Movember moustaches were grown across the world as part of official campaigns in 21 countries.
