North Queensland Toyota Cowboys coach Paul Green has named an unchanged squad of 17 for the round 20 Reconciliation Cup clash with the Canterbury Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

The Cowboys will be chasing back-to-back wins away from home after overcoming Cronulla 36-18 at Remondis Stadium on Friday night.

That win lifted North Queensland to 10th on the ladder after 19 rounds, just one victory away from the top eight.

After this weekend’s clash, the Cowboys have four out of their last six games at home where they are unbeaten since round three.

The Bulldogs are the current holders of the Reconciliation Cup, which is contested by the two clubs annually, after scoring a 36-26 win at 1300SMILES Stadium in round 13 last year.

The cup was instituted 40 years after the 1967 Referendum when Australians voted to remove clauses from the Australian Constitution which discriminated against Indigenous Australians and to recognise the High Court Mabo decision in 1992.
