North Queensland Toyota Dealers customer Rob Rees had a weekend to remember when he was part of the Cowboys NRL team’s inner sanctum during their round 13 trip to Parramatta.
Rob (centre), along with his good mate Ken Graham (left), enjoyed a unique Toyota Cowboys Access All Areas (AAA) experience after being the lucky winner of a competition open to anyone who purchased a Toyota vehicle from the North Queensland Toyota Dealers in April.
Rob’s win came thanks to buying a Prius from John Cole Toyota at Atherton and he decided to take Ken as his guest.
Accompanied by Cowboys ambassador Dallas Johnson, they were with the NRL team before, during and after their clash with the Eels, including travelling with the team on the flight from Townsville to Sydney and on the inner-sanctum of the team bus to their hotel at Sydney Olympic Park.
After checking in, they dined that night with Cowboys head coach Paul Green and general manager – football Peter Parr.
On game day, they had the chance to have breakfast with the team and see some of the NRL squad’s pre-match preparations and then took up their special seats in a corporate suite at Pirtek Stadium to cheer on the NRL boys.
To be eligible, competition entrants needed to purchase and take delivery of any new Toyota vehicle from a participating North Queensland Toyota dealership between 1 April and 30 April. Only private and ABN customers were eligible.
