Lachlan Coote (knee): After rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the opening game of the NRL Auckland Nines, the fullback underwent knee reconstruction surgery and is now on a physio program. He will begin strength and cardio work in mid-April.

• Rory Kostjasyn (foot): The forward has resumed full training following a ligament injury sustained during the Nines.

• Curtis Rona (thumb): The cast on the winger’s broken thumb suffered during the Nines weekend was removed last week and he could make his return to the playing field this weekend.

• Hezron Murgha (knee): The fullback is continuing with his running, weights and agility program following his reconstruction surgery at the end of last season. He is now six months into his rehabilitation but is not expected to return to the playing field until mid-season.
