Scott Boltons reputation as the Cowboys number one fisherman is intact after he successfully assumed the role of tour guide for the Toyota Gone Fishing competitions very happy winner at the weekend.

Along with fellow NRL squad member Gavin Cooper, Bolts took the lucky winner Dianne Foley, her husband Steve and their good friend Ray Vidler on a special fishing trip, trying their luck at three spots north of Townsville.

It was a truly memorable weekend and we will talk about it for a long time to come, Dianne said.

Our day was brilliant from our meeting in the morning to our return back to Jupiters in the afternoon.

The group were transported to each fishing site by helicopter and after initially having no luck when they threw their lines in at the Herbert River and Cattle Creek, they hit the jackpot at Sleepy Log Creek, just north of Bluewater.

Bolts cast a net and collected some mullet for bait and then passed on some of his great fishing knowledge that helped the group land a nice bag of mixed fish.

The prize, which Dianne won after spending $50 or more on any Toyota genuine part, service or accessory at a participating North Queensland Toyota dealership between April and October, also included two nights accommodation at Jupiters Townsville.

Dianne is a customer of Don West Toyota in Ayr.
