Carl Webb Community Grant

The Carl Webb ‘Stronger Together’ Community Grant is a joint initiative from the North Queensland Cowboys, Brisbane Broncos and XXXX, created to support the grassroots clubs and communities that are the heartbeat of rugby league across Queensland.

Honouring the legacy of Carl Webb - a proud Cowboy, Bronco and Queenslander, this new program is designed to give back to the regions and local clubs that shape the game and the people within it.

Through a total funding pool of $60,000, 12 community grants of $5,000 will be awarded to rugby league clubs and community-led initiatives, with a focus on regional and remote Queensland.

Funding can be used to support facility upgrades, equipment, and programs that strengthen community connection and wellbeing.

From volunteers and committees to players and families, this grant recognises the people behind the game, those who show up, dig in and build something bigger than themselves.

It’s simple - tell us how $5,000 could make a difference to your local footy club and the community behind it, and what you’d do with the funding.
