Boots for the Bush

Boots for the Bush is a North Queensland Toyota Cowboys program proudly presented by Elders that operates through generous donations of pre-loved football boots, allowing more kids to enjoy their footy.

The football boots are delivered to communities across North Queensland, giving people the opportunity to be a part of grassroots club initiatives that have a positive impact on communities across North Queensland.

The program includes donation points, and opportunities to donate at upcoming events. To get involved, donate your footy boots or email community@cowboys.com.au for more information.

How you can help:

  1. Check if the football boots you'd like to donate are in good condition.
  2. Donate them by dropping them in the donation bin.
  3. Watch for news about how your boots are put to good use!

A message of thanks from Fiona Pelling, Cowboys General Manager - Community:

"Everyone's contribution is appreciated! While the donation of a pair of boots might not seem much to some, to a young footballer it can really make a difference, as many families may not have easy access to sports stores and the right footwear to play. We truly value corporate partners like Elders, as they work with us to support grassroots rugby league, removing remoteness as a barrier to their passion for the sport."
