Lewis Ramsay

Lewis Ramsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Communications) from QUT and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from JCU. He works as a professional Director, a consultant and manages his family property interests.

Lewis has formerly worked in Federal Government in Canberra, served as the Marketing and Commercial Manager for the North Queensland Cowboys and the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Clubs, and worked as Commercial Director of Brisbane Marketing. He is also a former General Manager of North Queensland Newspapers.

Lewis is currently the Executive Chairman of the North Queensland Cowboys Group, serving as the Chair of both the Cowboys Rugby League Football Board, and Cowboys Leagues Club Board. He is also the current Chair of Queensland Country Bank.

Over the past 15 years he has held Non-Executive Director positions on a range of local boards and committees including Queensland Country Health Fund Ltd, Mater Health, the Townsville Water Security Taskforce and as Chair of the Townsville City Deal Stakeholder Reference Group.

He is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Lewis holds a QBCC Builder’s License and Qld Real Estate Agent’s License. He is a 5th generation north Queenslander.
