Our beautiful island home: Obe Geia Challenge unites communities
Mainland and Palm Island schools united for the greatest game of all at the 14th annual Obe Geia Challenge, as rugby league connected communities for the unique one-day carnival. Eight Townsville schools and a team from Magnetic Island made the round trip to Palm Island, experiencing first-hand its beauty, people and culture, thanks to Navarre Minerals, SeaLink, selectability and Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council.
