A two-time Junior Kangaroo, 22 year old Logan junior Patrick Mago got his chance of the big stage in Round 23 against the Panthers after a stellar year playing for the Northern Pride in the Queensland cup.

A powerful runner and fearsome defender, Mago showed glimpses of his enormous potential in two interchange cameos for the Cowboys deep in a season where Paul Green used 32 players across 28 games.
