SEASON REVIEW: Kyle Feldt

Responsible for some of the more memorable on-field highlights in 2017, athletic winger Kyle Feldt soared above the pack to lead the team’s try-scorers’ tally in 2017.

The noted finisher struggled to find the white stripe across the first part of the season, the 25-year-old not touching down until round 10.

But the Townsville junior more than made up for lost time, racing in 15 tries in 19 games including a spectacular game-tying effort close to full-time against the Panthers in front of a raucous Townsville home crowd on a Saturday afternoon in June. That gravity-defying effort was on many try-of-the-year lists and cemented Feldt as one of the classiest finishers in the game.

He was one of five Cowboys to play all 28 games, and now needs just two tries to bring up 50 career four-pointers.
