Proud North Queensland business director and former Cowboy Martin Locke has committed to helping grow the club’s membership reach by extending the invitation to support his home team to the staff in his locally-owned building business, Martin Locke Homes.

Excited by the prospect of having his colleagues and their children join the Cowboys family and experience the same enjoyment he does, Cowboys corporate member Locke purchased an additional 18 Super Star memberships, receiving a big thank-you from Cowboys CEO Greg Tonner.

“We are so grateful for our corporate members, and the support they give our club year-in, year-out,” Tonner said.

“To have a corporate member like Martin showing such passion for the club and feeling compelled to bring his colleagues on the Cowboys journey is truly inspiring.”

A long-term corporate member of over 12 years, Martin understands the value of being a member and what it means to the club and its supporters.

“Martin Locke Homes is a building company but we believe in more than simply building homes, we want to build up our community in whatever way we can,” he said.

“Aside from my connection with the Cowboys as a former player, we also know the club does such fantastic work within the community and my company is proud to be associated with an organisation which shares our community conscience.

“My staff and their children are excited to be part of the Cowboys family and we look forward to also sharing this experience with our clients as well.

“The Cowboys do so much for our community and North Queensland businesses can get behind them too – it would be fantastic to see our team achieve the highest membership in the league!”
