The year-4 Cranbrook student was upgraded to the exclusive Shine Super Sofa, complete with food and beverage package and uninterrupted views of his favourite team – the Cowboys!
“It meant a lot to be on the Shine Sofa because I got to sit up close to the players, and I got to be interviewed by Cliffo and Caro!” George said.
Seven-year-old George says he has always supported the Cowboys, and idolises co-captain Johnathan Thurston for his sportsmanship and skill.
“My favourite player is JT because he is always fair to other players, and he is very skilful and tactical, and when he kicked the best field goal ever in the Grand Final against the Broncos – that was my favourite moment!
“The Cowboys are just amazing.”
