North Queensland Toyota Cowboys head coach Paul Green has made some changes to his team to play Wests Tigers in their Round 6 NRL clash at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Kalyn Ponga comes in for injured fullback Lachlan Coote, while Ben Hampton starts at hooker to replace Jake Granville, who is recovering from a leg injury.

Blake Leary, who trained with the team during pre-season, comes on to the interchange bench with John Asiata, Coen Hess and Shaun Fensom.

Tonight's game kicks off at 7.30pm.
