The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are excited to join forces with national education and training provider Allara Learning to jointly kick off 2017 with a new major partnership.

The Cowboys’ new training partner will expand their existing relationship with the club, signing on as a major partner on a multi-year deal that will see the Allara Learning logo feature on the back of the NRL and NYC player shorts.

Allara Learning delivered Hospitality courses in 2016 as part of the Cowboys’ ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ training program.

The ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ training and employment program delivers accredited courses to unemployed and disadvantaged North Queenslanders, with mentoring support to assist in completing training and securing ongoing paid employment.

Allara Learning CEO Andrew Lewis said he was excited to be giving back to the region that has supported the company, particularly during the establishment of their Townsville office in late 2016.

“We are already proud community partners of the ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ program, and are delighted to have the opportunity to further extend our relationship,” Mr Lewis said.

“It is important to us that we partner with like-minded organisations, and the Cowboys share our vision of empowering individuals through education and training, so becoming a major partner was an easy decision to make.

“We’re excited to begin our work as the Cowboys’ education and training provider, and look forward to an action-packed 2017 season.”

Cowboys General Manager Commercial Business Jeff Reibel said the partnership was built on a joint desire to give back to the North Queensland community.

“We are delighted to welcome Allara Learning to our major partner family. Their passion for delivering quality training programs that result in tangible employment outcomes for North Queenslanders makes them a natural fit for our club," Mr Reibel said.

"It will be exciting to see them continue their positive impact on the community in the coming years.”

Allara Learning will deliver the first ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ course in Certificate III Hospitality for 2017 to students commencing 6 February and will be proudly displayed on the team’s shorts for the first time when they run out at Eden Park during the Auckland Nines on Saturday 4 February.
