New North Queensland Toyota Cowboys assistant coach David Fairleigh says he's looking forward to fitting in at the club under head coach Paul Green.
Fairleigh joins the Cowboys' first-grade coaching lineup with assistant coaches Todd Payten and Josh Hannay.
He has previously served as NRL assistant coach with the Penrith Panthers (2012-2015), and with the Knights, Eels and Warriors.
As a player, Fairleigh played 15 Tests for Australia, 10 State of Origin games and 219 first grade games.
