Almost the forgotten man of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ backline, Tautau Moga was in Paul Green’s team at the start of season 2015 until a horrible knee injury ended his year.

Working hard at rehab, Moga eventually returned to the field, making his comeback for the Mackay Cutters in April of this year.

With Kane Linnett and Justin O’Neill having locked down the centre spots in Moga’s absence, the 22-year-old was facing an uphill battle to get back into first grade.

His sole chance came in Round 18 against the Raiders in Canberra.

A dangerous attacking weapon at full fitness, Moga has ended his three-year association with the Cowboys and will take up an offer with the Brisbane Broncos in 2017.
