• Burleigh Bears v Northern Pride – 4pm, Saturday 28 March, Pizzey Park
• Townsville Blackhawks v CQ Capras – 5pm, Saturday 28 March, Jack Manski Oval
• Mackay Cutters v Easts Tigers – 7pm, Saturday 28 March, Stadium Mackay

It’s a super Saturday for the Cowboys' feeder teams in the Intrust Super Cup.

After leap-frogging their way to the top of the ladder, the Townsville Blackhawks have been boosted with the return of Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt for their match-up against the CQ Capras at Jack Manski Oval.

After scoring in the 22-point loss to the Broncos, Feldt wasn’t named in the NRL side to face the Melbourne Storm on Monday night.

His return to the wing is the only change to the side that ran in 10 tries against the Northern Pride last weekend.

The Capras will certainly be up against it when they travel to Townsville.

The Rockhampton squad have won only one game this season and have the worst defensive record in the league, having leaked 90 points over three rounds.

Last year’s premiers the Northern Pride are in an unfamiliar position at the bottom of the ladder, and are yet to record a victory after two matches.

They have the chance to turn it around with an away victory over the Burleigh Bears, who are only four places above them on the table.

After the Cutters second-half blitz of the Seagulls last week, the Mackay boys will be hoping to add another home victory to the board when they face the seventh-placed Tigers.

There’s a fair bit of history between the two teams with the Cutters defeating Easts in the 2013 Intrust Super Cup grand final.

Easts are one of the stingiest teams in defence, having let in 38 points over three rounds.
