Little Hugo Scott is responsible for the Toyota Cowboys reaching a big number on our 2015 membership tally board.
Now 12 weeks old, Hugo was signed up today by his parents Matt and Lauren as North Queensland’s 10,000th member for the season with still six weeks to go until round one of the Telstra Premiership.
He picked up his Junior Star members pack including a backpack, cap, water bottle, frisbee and a membership card with his name and membership number (10,000) printed proudly on the back at Cowboys HQ.
His proud dad Matt is the Cowboys’ membership ambassador, working alongside our membership team who are striving to reach the club’s target of 15,000 members in 2015.
“Getting to 10,000 before the end of January is a great start and I’m sure we can add plenty to it as the season gets closer,” Matt said.
“We’re getting Hugo started young – he’ll be able to be one of the Junior Stars for another 12 years – and hopefully he’ll grow into being a big Cowboys fan.”
