Linnett again formed a strong combination with great mate Antonio Winterstein on the left side of the Cowboys’ attack and defence as he turned in another 20-plus games season for the club in 2014.
The duo scored a total of 27 tries with Linnett grabbing four in the final six weeks as NQ charged to the finals.
His offloads count of 30 was the highest amongst all Cowboys and he was fourth in linebreaks with 10.
A powerful straight line runner who loves spearing into holes off Johnathan Thurston, Linnett had 10 100m-plus matches during the home and away runs, highlighted by 163 metres in the round 25 golden point win against the Sharks.
After playing every minute of every game in 2013, the 25-year-old only missed one match this year (round seven against Manly).

Linnett has proved to be outstanding value for the Cowboys – in his three years, he’s played 74 matches and only missed three.
Another three games next year will take the centre to 100 for his career.
Representative football with NSW Country will still be high on his agenda to add to his World Cup cap for Scotland.
