No forward played more NRL games for the Cowboys than Bolton in the season just gone.

Primarily used off the interchange bench to back up Matt Scott, James Tamou and Ashton Sims, he didn’t miss a match, joining Michael Morgan in being an ever-present in 2014.

The 27-year-old had a purple patch between rounds nine and 12 when he picked up between 124m and 151m each weekend.

The Cowboys won three of those four matches.

Bolton was again strong defensively, missing just 21 tackles for the year (0.8 per game) and gave away just two penalties.

WHAT’S IN STORE IN 2015:

Bolton, who underwent post-season surgery on his shoulder, will hit the 150-games mark for the Cowboys – a feat achieved by just seven players – if he plays another 19 matches next season.

Co-captain Matt Scott is currently the only Cowboys forward to have gone past the 150 level.
