It’s an exciting week for Cowboys Spirit cheerleader Brittany who is chasing your vote as she looks to become the 2014 Big League Cheerleader of the Year.

Brittany qualified as the Cowboys’ representative in the final 16 earlier this year and then won a showdown against the Canberra Raiders’ contender to reach the last stage.

Now she’s up against six other NRL cheerleaders for the top honour.

The finalists feature in the round 25 magazine, now available at newsagents, and you can help decide who will be this year’s Cheerleader of the Year by voting!

Twenty-year-old Brittany, whose home town is Townsville, is a very familiar face to Cowboys members and fans who come along to our home games.

She has been a cheerleader for 10 seasons, eight with the junior squads before stepping up to the Spirit team.

She is currently in her fourth year studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and says Josh Hannay is her all-time favourite Cowboy.

To vote for Brittany, and enter the draw for the major prize of a trip to two to the NRL grand final, with accommodation and flights included, text Brittany to 19 992 220

Voters can only SMS once from one unique number. Each SMS costs 55 cents (incl GST).

Voting closes at 11.59pm on Monday with the winner announced in next week’s Big League.

A random voter this week will win a Sony Music CD.

Good luck, Brittany!
