The Toyota Cowboys have added Kelepi Tanginoa to their 2015 NRL squad with the Parramatta back-rower signing a two-year contract to come to North Queensland.

The 20-year-old, who represented New South Wales at under-20s Origin level last year, has played 13 NRL matches for the Eels.

“We believe Kelepi is one of the best young back-row talents in the NRL and expect he will thrive with the Cowboys,” North Queensland’s general manager – football Peter Parr said.

“He’ll be determined to become a regular first grader in 2015 and he’ll get the opportunity to do that with us.

“We’re confident he will be a long-term success and our members and fans will thoroughly enjoy watching him play his footy.”

Tanginoa joins Jake Granville (Brisbane), Tim Glasby (Melbourne) and Kyle McConnell (Burleigh) as the Cowboys’ outside additions to their 2015 NRL squad.

NYC hooker Josh Chudleigh will step up from the under-20s competition.
