Warm welcome in the Far North!

The snaking queues at Stockland Earlville on Thursday night showed just how much support the Toyota Cowboys have in Far North Queensland.
In Cairns as part of Cowboys on Tour 2013, North Queensland's NRL squad, led by co-captains Johnathan Thurston and Matthew Scott, met hundreds of their members and supporters on day one of their four-day stay.
By the end of the hour-long autograph signing and photograph session, there wasn't a Cowboys fan who didn't leave without a smile on their face and a 2013 team poster in their hands.
"We always enjoy coming to Cairns and this turnout is great to see," Cowboys games record holder Matthew Bowen said.
"They love their footy and they love the Cowboys.
"I'm sure they can't wait for the game on Saturday."
The Cowboys also held a signing session at Pacific Toyota on Thursday with some lucky supporters getting the chance to have their photo taken with the entire travelling squad.
On Friday, a packed schedule includes a sponsor breakfast, school visits as part of the BHP Billiton Cannington Try Time! program, a luncheon with the Northern Pride and a 4pm open training session at Barlow Park, the venue for the clash with St George Illawarra.
