Greenshields comes to the Cowboys after being the Catalan Dragons’ top tryscorer in Super League in 2012.
His 18-try haul, mostly from fullback, included three hat-tricks and took his career tally to a club record 84.
Catalan finished the home and away rounds in fourth position with 18 wins and nine losses but were beaten in both of their finals matches against Wigan and Leeds.
The 30-year-old managed to cross the line in his final game.
What's ahead in 2013?
With the ability to play just about position in the backline, Greenshields’s versatility will be a useful extra asset for the Cowboys in 2013.
The ex-Dragon hasn’t come back to Australia just to play out one extra season.
He wants to keep improving on his game and challenge strongly for a place in North Queensland’s 17.
His experience will also be welcome.
