Tuesday 4 December 2012 2:27 PM
The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ eye-catching pink jersey will make its second appearance in the round 10 home game against the Sydney Roosters in season 2013.
The NRL has declared that weekend’s list of fixtures as the annual Harvey Norman Women in League round which honours the amazing contribution women at all levels have made to the game of rugby league across the country.
North Queensland wore its pink jersey, which proved to be immensely popular with the club’s female members and supporters, for the first time in the round 16 victory against Canberra this year.
The 2013 round 10 clash will be played at Townsville Stadium on Saturday night, 18 May, kicking off at 7.30pm.
North Queensland’s Indigenous jersey will be worn against the Gold Coast Titans in the Close The Gap round at home in August.
The club's Heritage jersey, modelled on the Cowboys’ original 1995 playing strip, will make an appearance against the Brisbane Broncos, either in round six in the Men of League Heritage Round at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 12 April or in the Rivalry Round clash in round 20 at Townsville Stadium on Friday 26 July.
