Hall proves his fitness for rd 10 selection

Toyota Cowboys forward Glenn Hall has regained his position in the North Queensland team for the round 10 NRL clash with Newcastle at Hunter Stadium on Saturday night, after a week in the Intrust Super Cup.
A combination of tonsillitis and a toe ligament tear forced Hall to miss the round eight match against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium, but the 31-year-old showed he had overcome his problems by playing the full 80 minutes for the Mackay Cutters against Souths Logan in Brisbane on Sunday.
He came up with the Cutters’ first try and gave the Magpies plenty of trouble on the left edge in a 12-point victory.
It will be young forward Jason Taumalolo who will play for the Cutters for the first time this weekend, after he was left out of the squad to face the Knights in the only change made by head coach Neil Henry.
The Cowboys have named James Segeyaro in their 17 after electing to contest the grading of the careless high tackle charge lodged by the NRL match review committee, after the hooker was placed on report for a hit on Ben Hornby in Friday night’s 30-6 defeat of St George Illawarra.
If he is successful at the judiciary on Wednesday night, Segeyaro, who has been charged with a grade two offence, will be available to face the Knights.
An early guilty plea would have seen the PNG representative receive 112 penalty points.
If the challenge to downgrade the charge to a grade one fails, he will be penalised 150 points.
Saturday night’s match kicks off at 7.35pm and will be live on Fox Sports 2 – follow our Twitter feed @nthqldcowboys for live score updates.
