The Toyota Cowboys celebrated Harmony Day with some of North Queensland’s youngest residents at Village Kids childcare centre in Townsville today.
Matthew Bowen showed off some dancing moves and painting talents and Scott Bolton joined in some play dough and footy fun as the Cranbrook centre welcomed the kids from Shalom Christian College as visitors for the day.
All up, more than 50 youngsters had the chance to mingle with the two Cowboys who were big hits with the kids and staff.
Celebrated on 21 March each year, Harmony Day is managed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
It is a day of cultural respect, widely celebrated across schools, childcare centres, community groups, churches, businesses and federal, state and local government agencies.
James Tamou and Ashton Sims also joined the celebrations as special guests at the Seniors Harmony Day activities at Willows Shopping Centre.
